UPCOMING ADVENTURES

African Safari: Tanzania, January 10-23, 2024

This adventure begins at the base of Mt. Kilimanjaro as we visit the local animal parks: Arusha, Serengeti Plains, NgoroNgoro Crater and Tarangire Parks. This once in a lifetime “Photo Safari” includes all the big game: Lions, Elephants, Giraffe, Rhino, Water Buffalo, Zebra, Leopard, Cheetah, Hippopotamus, Wildebeest, Hyena, Jackal, many varieties of birds, and so much more. Two Private Guides escort us on our adventure via open-air Land Cruisers.

After the first week we fly to the Island of Zanzibar in the middle of the Indian Ocean. This is a 5-star all-inclusive hotel on the west coast of Zanzibar. We have plenty of time to relax by the beach and pool; horseback ride in the ocean; play golf and tennis and explore the island via sight-seeing and scuba diving. The last day we spend touring the city of Stone Town, Birthplace of Freddie Mercury from Queen.

The Italian Get Away: September, 2024

Italy is everyone’s favorite destination! Enjoy sightseeing in Venice, one of the most amazing cities in the world, then we’ll journey over to the Dolomites for gorgeous hikes through the alps, and relax at a spa hotel. The next part of our voyage take us to the historic city of Florence. Florence is known for its great shopping, cobblestone streets, fabulous cuisine, and the arts.

A short train ride from there and you will arrive in one of the most historic cities in Europe: Rome. The sightseeing will include the Colosseum, the Forum, Circus Maximus, Trevi Fountain, The Pantheon, St. Peter’s Basilica and Vatican City – just  to name a few of the historic sites. We will stroll through the Trastevere District eating at some of Rome’s best restaurants, and, of course, indulging in gelato as we encounter plenty of shopping.

Our final stop will be the scenic Amalfi Coast. We will spend our nights in Sorrento, and the days on the Isle of Capri. We will visit the seaside towns of Amalfi and Positano. If you desire, you might want to take a short train ride up the coast to see the ancient Roman city of Pompeii.  There will be plenty of fine dining and shopping for those interested, but if you’ve had enough, you can sit back and relax while sipping the local espresso, favorite wines and Limoncello. These picturesque towns are the perfect way to end a perfect Italian excursion!

Greece Adventure: June, 2024

Our group will fly into Athens. Once there we will take the ferry to the Greek island of Mykonos, and relax island as we stroll through the narrow white washed alleyways and enjoy the majestic sea views while relaxing on the beaches.

Our next stop will be Naxos. This island is in the south Aegean, the largest of the Cyclades island group. Its fertile landscape spans mountain villages, ancient ruins and long stretches of beach and is one of the most beautiful of the Greek islands!

Santorini is next and also one of the Cyclades islands. It was devastated by a volcanic eruption in the 16th century B.C., forever shaping its rugged landscape. The whitewashed, candy-colored houses carved into cliffs, sapphire waters, and chalk-white buildings topped with cobalt-blue domes are a famous sight. Fira and Oia, cling to cliffs above an underwater caldera (crater) and overlook the sea, small islands to the west and beaches made up of black, red and white lava pebbles.

Finally, we fly back for an afternoon and evening in the capital of modern Greece and the heart of of its ancient Empire, Athens. The city is still dominated by 5th-century B.C. landmarks, including the Acropolis, a hilltop citadel topped with ancient buildings like the colonnaded Parthenon temple. After visiting the Acropolis, we’ll dine and shop in the Plaka, the historic neighborhood located at the base of the hill topped by the Acropolis.

Ski Trip: Kitzbühel, Austria then Mallorca, Spain February 24- March 7, 2024

The initial destination of our trip we will begin in the city of Innsbruck, Austria. We will fly into Innsbruck where some of you might want to arrive a day or two early to see the old town and surrounding city. On Saturday February 24^th we will take a train to Kitzbühel. This is a small Alpine town east of Innsbruck, in the Western Austrian province of Tyrol. It’s a fashionable winter resort, known for the annual Hahnenkamm downhill race. Upscale shops and cafes line the streets of its medieval center. Kitzbühel also offers top-class amenities both on and off the slopes and some rocking après ski. You can also indulge in all manner of culinary delights, surrounded by stunning panoramic views at one of the 60 huts and mountain restaurants.  

Our second half of this incredible adventure will continue after our train ride to the Munich Airport.  We will fly 2 hours 15 minutes to the Island of Mallorca (Majorca), Spain. This is one of Spain’s Balearic Islands in the Mediterranean. It’s known for beach resorts, sheltered coves, limestone mountains and Roman and Moorish remains. Capital Palma has nightlife, the Moorish Almudaina royal palace and 13th-century Santa María Cathedral. Stone-built villages include Pollença, with its art galleries and music festival, and hillside Fornalutx, surrounded by citrus plantations. Visiting the island will bring you back in time strolling through the ancient streets and alleyways.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Mallorca is known for its beautiful coastline, Spanish architecture, wineries and fresh produce farms, and stunning beaches. From quaint mountain villages to dynamic nightclubs, you’ll have no trouble finding an adventure that matches your mood and liking.
