Moorea, Tahiti

What a beautiful and amazing place! The attraction toward Moorea comes as no surprise; the island is a geographical marvel. Eight voluminous mountain peaks rise from its translucent lagoon, creating a distinctive and rugged silhouette visible from the western coast of Tahiti.  If that is not enough then you must enjoy the spectacular undersea adventures they have to offer.

We did a few days of scuba diving in the local waters.  There is an abundance of fish of many varieties and sizes.  We were very fortunate to be able to dive with Nico at Tahiti Shark Expeditions.  Nico took us on dives featuring many different Reef Sharks and a few Lemon Sharks.  The real attraction for me was the interaction we had with the many Tiger sharks in the area.
