Munich; Skiing St. Anton, Austria + Madrid, Spain
We started this trip in Munich Germany, with its local Castles, Beer Halls, the famous Marienplatz square that contains landmarks such as Neo-Gothic Neues Rathaus (town hall), with a popular glockenspiel show that chimes and reenacts stories from the 16th century. As we walked through this historic city we had the opportunity to enjoy the local cuisine and lots of great shopping and historic sites!!!
The destination for our next trip in February was the fabulous ski resort of St. Anton which connects with the towns of St. Christoph, Stuben, Zurs, Zug, Lech and Warth and covers close to 200,000 square acres of skiable terrain. For those of you who like to party and enjoy the nightlife, St. Anton is often referred to as the St. Tropez of the Alps, and for good reason. We relaxed at the Mooserwirt and Crazy Kangaroo not to mention the many other slope sides bars and restaurants.
We finished out adventure in Madrid. This city is full of life! We visited some of Europes bests museums, the Prado Museum, Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum and the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía are just a few we enjoyed. We strolled around the city street eating, shopping and and for one stop relaxing at the Royal Palace to enjoy the changing of the guards and the palaces orchestra that payed outside in the gardens.
Some of took some day trips to Toledo and Segovia to see these historic towns of Spain.
