Cozumel & Playa del Carmen, Mexico
World class scuba diving is the main attraction to this part of the Caribbean. With the second largest underwater reef just off the coast there is no better place to drift dive in sites like Palancar Reef. The government of Mexico has established this as “Cozumel Reefs National Marine Park” forbidding anyone to hunt, touch or remove anything in this area. What occurs as a result, is an amazing array of sea life that is varied and spectacular. In a single dive, you are likely to see lobsters, eels, morays, fish of brilliant colors and designs, amongst beautiful caverns, corral, and plant life. This is a destination for anyone that is certified to Scuba Dive. A short boat ride to the mainland of Mexico lies the small fishing town of Playa del Carmen. White sand beaches, turquoise waters, incredible fresh seafood and boutique shops and hotels is what you will find here. Stroll up and down Fifth Avenue to find you personal watering hole. This town is adorned with class, as it serves the wealthier citizens of Mexico with the miles of golf courses, beautiful homes, and stunning beaches.
