African Safari

This Adventure is one of a kind. A “Photo Safari” including all the big game: Lions, Elephants, Giraffe, Rhino, Water Buffalo, Zebra, Leopard, Cheetah, Hippopotamus, Wildebeest, Hyena, Jackal, many varieties of birds and so much more. Two Private Guides escort us on our adventure via open-air Land Cruisers. We spend a week visiting four different parks where the animals roam with no borders or fences. Along the way, our guide, whose ancestors were Maasai Warriors, takes us to a Maasai Village where we have the opportunity to see how these tribes live in modern times.

After the first week we fly to the Island of Zanzibar in the middle of the Indian Ocean. This is a 5-star all-inclusive hotel on the west coast of Zanzibar, and there is plenty of time to relax by the beach or pool; horseback ride in the ocean; play golf and tennis; and explore the island via sight-seeing including scuba diving. The last day we spend touring the city of Stone Town, Birthplace of Freddie Mercury from Queen.  

Example Itinerary:

1. January 10 – Day 0 Flight leaves the USA to Europe.

   January 11-12 – Day 1-2 Flight arrives in Kilimanjaro, Tanzania from Europe. Our drivers will meet the group at the airport and take us to our hotel in Arusha. If arriving early, then a walk through the market on day 1. Day 2 is a walking and driving safari in Arusha National Park

   January 13 – Day 3 Drive to Tarangire National Park for a day safari then stopping at a local orphanage for a short visit and the finishing our day with a stop at a cultural center. Then first night at Karatu and staying at the Ngorongoro Coffee Lodge.

   January 14 – Day 4 A drive through to a Maasai village then the Ngorongoro Crater for another amazing Safari drive. A short drive back to Karatu to the Ngorongoro Coffee Lodge.

   January 15- 18 – Day 5- 8 Check out of hotel after breakfast then and continue to the Serengeti National Park for 3 full day game drives until early evening. We will be spending 4 nights at the Safari View Lodge. This includes dinner, followed up with breakfast, lunch and dinner for a total of 4 nights. Very magical!!!

   January 19 – 22- Day 9 – 12 Check out of tents (room tax and room charges to be paid). We will continue our tour by driving to the airport in the Serengeti. At this point our safari is done and off to the Arusha airport a short flight, just over an hour to the Island of Zanzibar.

   We will take a taxi to the all-inclusive hotel on the Indian Ocean. Relax at the resort or explore the island for 4 nights. In addition, the hotel will take us to the historic city of Stone Town on any day we choose. I have setup a private 2-3 hour tour of the city where you will have a little extra time at the end of the walk to enjoy the spice market, Slave Museum, or rooftop bar.

   January 23 – Day 13 Check out (room tax and room charges to be paid at the front desk). Then we fly out of Zanzibar to Europe and arriving back in the USA on either
