Sightseeing
This, of course, happens on all adventures and tour types. A main joy of traveling is taking in the sites of all of the new places one visits. The beautiful countryside, the bustling cities, the quaint villages, the phenomenal cultural and historical structures arouse a fresh perspective and appreciation for everything the world has to offer. It’s exciting and invigorating to view the sites, to photograph your adventures and ensure a lasting memory.

Hiking
Do you like a little exercise mixed in with flowered filled meadows, fresh water streams and great food? Our hiking tours are for all levels of hikers, beginners to advanced. You will have the opportunity to trek across varied terrains and distances. Our hikes will take you from the mountains to pathways along the seas. There is something for everyone. Along the way will try the local cuisine and some fine wines. We might take the easy way up by chairlift and then hike down past villages and towns or walk up never ending staircases. Whichever you choose, you’ll know that you have seen something special.

Snow Skiing
This is our most popular adventure. Each year we choose a new destination. For over 35 years we have been making our annual trek to Europe where the skiing is in a class of its own. The resorts are bigger, there is a unique quality and charm to the region, and the après ski activities are second to none. The experience of the Alps excites even the most experienced skier. If you like big vertical runs, Europe is the place to ski. It is like nothing we have in the U.S., and the slopes are typically anywhere from two to ten miles long with vertical drops of 4,000 – 6,000 feet and for half the price of a ski trip to Rockies. We make these trips a two-part adventure, in that after our fun in the snow, we always extend our trips to some new location where we will be able to learn a little history and see amazing sites and continue our fine dining experience, while tasting local beer and wine (and if there is chocolate around, some of us might get into a little bit of trouble!).

African Safari
This Adventure is one of a kind “Photo Safari” that includes all the big game: Lions, Elephants, Giraffe, Rhino, Water Buffalo, Zebra, Leopard, Cheetah, Hippopotamus, Wildebeest, Hyena, Jackal, many varieties of birds, and so much more. This experience brings you upfront and close to the abundance of wildlife throughout Eastern and South Africa and the opportunity to see these animals in their natural habitat. The accommodations are 1st class, and include several nights in luxurious tents situated in the heart of the Serengeti Plains. You’ll experience the roar of the lions and the many sounds of their prey as you sit outside under a canopy of stars. Are your bags packed yet!

Garden Tours
Beautiful castles and villages, city parks and private homes with amazing flowers and shrubs of distinct colors and fragrances are our destination when we focus on gardens as our travel theme. There are unique styles of gardens at each venue, and seasonal adventures bring different surprises. Imagine biking through the countryside amongst a field of lavender, then turning the corner and being greeted with an array of bright yellow sunflowers. Each horticulturist designs their garden to perfection. Along the way we manage to find local cuisine to complement our relaxing day.

Outdoor Markets Shopping
There is nothing like arriving at a small town only to find out it is market day! As you walk through the outdoor market you can smell the fresh produce, almost taste it. Everyone brings out their heart-filled work for you to sample and buy, and the variety of goods sold are plentiful. Fresh cheese, olives, meats, wines, clothing, and table wares are just a few of the items that will fill the sidewalks with eager people seeking the best bargain. Remember to pack light before your trip to make room for all your precious cargo.

Scuba Diving
The tropical paradises around the world offer the most serene underwater landscape and spectacular creatures ever seen. Three-quarters of the world is underwater and we will travel to some of the best dive sites to be found. Our dives will include ship wrecks, deep, night, drift, boat and many other diving opportunities. The abundant sea life promises encounters with turtles, moray eels, barracuda, fish of many colors and an occasional encounter with a variety of sharks! We travel from the Hawaiian Islands to the Caribbean Sea, dive among ruins in the Mediterranean, and enjoy the colorful sea life in the Red Sea. Are you ready for your next dive adventure?-

Castle & Chateaux
History comes alive as you visit the amazing architecture of the castles and chateaux that adorn the countryside of Europe. Part of what is so spectacular about each building is that there is no other castle just like it! Some have an emphasis on gardens, others are part of an historical event that altered our world, and many of these beautiful monuments are adorned with art from the periods when the occupants decorated their homes. Touring these sites allows you to enter into the past, and visualizing life in a previous time is a wonderful way to feed the imagination. There are a variety of ways to enjoy these tours, and whether on a bicycle, walking along the garden paths, or just sitting down and enjoying the scenery, the castles and chateaux of Europe are breathtakingly beautiful.
